W.W. Fortenbaugh is Emeritus Professor of Classics at Rutgers University, USA. His publications include as author of two volumes on Theophrastus of Eresus: Sources for his Life, Writings, Thought & Influence, Commentary Volume 6a (2005) and Volume 8 (2010).
Keasby scholar in England, 1958-61; grants from National Endowment for the Humanities, 1967, 1980-83, 1984-85, 1988; junior fellow, Center for Hellenic Studies, 1967-68, American Council of Learned Societies, 1972-73, Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung, 1976-77, 1991-92, Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study, 1990-91, and Bogliasco Foundation, 1999, 2003.

James Willis
July Featured Author
J. Stewart Willis obtained his B.S. from the United States Military Academy and his Ph.D. in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic institute. He served in the Army for twenty-five years, including tours in Taiwan and Vietnam. He has been a college professor of physics, a manager in the Department of Energy’s Nuclear Waste Project at Yucca Mountain in Nevada, and for nine years, the elected mayor of the town of Washington, Virginia. He is the author of eight novels.

A Vietnam Infantry officer. Spent 21 years in the U.S army. Grew up in an impoverished environment in Oklahoma and California. A Batchler’s degree from the University of California and a master’s degree in Speech from Northern Illinois. Reside in a small community, Leavenworth, Kansas about 31 miles northwest of Kansas City.
